Course Description:
This course introduces GIS concepts and ArcGIS tools used by the SDDOT to visualize real-world features, discover patterns, obtain information, and communicate that information to others.  Using the ArcGIS desktop, you will learn how to locate, create, explore, and analyze data as you master the fundamental concepts of GIS technology.

ArcGIS 2 – Making the most of ArcGIS Desktop for SDDOT

Target Audience:
Individual should have completed the ArcGIS 1 Intro course or have an equivalent knowledge and experience using ArcGIS.
Duration:
1/2 Day (3 hours – 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.)
Course Description:
In this course, you will learn skills that will prepare you to perform the most common ArcGIS workflows. Using ArcGIS for Desktop, you will explore, manage, and analyze geographic data and create informative maps.

Cancellation:
We ask that you cancel your registration 24-hours prior to the start of the training course. Anyone who does not attend and who have not cancelled their registration 24-hours prior to the class, will be considered no-shows. Agencies/companies will be billed full price for employees who are considered no-shows.
