Documenting Discipline & Performance
AFE #- 78L6
What participants have said:
“The discussion in the Documenting Discipline class was very helpful and dealt with some actual situations. I have recommended that all of our Supervisors attend those classes.”
There are three keys to legally and successfully resolving employee performance problems.
For supervisors, documentation can be a challenge – whether sending kudos, writing comments on the ACE document, or drafting a disciplinary action. In our newly revised course, we will give you guidance on not only on what and where to document, but we will also walk you through a framework for having any type of a feedback conversation. We also spend time clarifying the difference between feedback, coaching, and discipline to help you decide what is appropriate depending on the situation.
Come to class – or come back to class – and brush up those documentation skills! You’ll be equipped and confident the next time you have to go down the disciplinary road with the tools of progressive discipline by your side.
