Training Tuesdays

Training Tuesdays are special training webinar events hosted by BHRA. These sessions are always hosted on the third Tuesday every few months at 10:00 a.m. CT. Topics and speakers will vary with each session. Training Tuesdays sessions are open to all state employees. Upcoming sessions will be highlighted both on this page, in the Training & Development Digest, and on the Training Calendar in SDLearn.

Join us at 10:00 a.m. CT on May 7, for Authenticity Creates Victory! In this signature keynote, Marques opens up about hitting rock bottom in July 2022, after he had to file for divorce. In November 2022, he had to leave his home and move into an apartment and he was feeling depressed, like a failure and he was at one of the lowest points of his life. He set a goal of being in a new home and getting his life back on track by November 2023!

In January 2023, Marques faced another setback, that almost put him in financial ruin. After gathering his composure and utilizing the 4 V’s to get himself back on track, Marques once again rose from the ashes, to put himself in position to succeed. In May of 2023, he moved out of his dilapidated apartment into his beautiful dream home, achieving that milestone 6 months ahead of schedule. His business is booming, he’s forging amazing, healthy relationships with like minded people and he is in full control of his life again, all within a year of filing for divorce….
