Highway Patrol Motor Carrier
Position Purpose
Motor Carrier Inspectors weigh and inspect private and commercial motor carrier vehicles, sell highway use permits, collect fees, write citations for violations, and are actively involved in public education to ensure the protection of the motoring public, the safety of public highways, and enforcement of motor carrier laws and regulations.
