Continuous Performance Communication (or CPC as we like to call it) is the state’s performance management system. Goodbye to long forms that we talk about once a year and hello to a system that revolves around a series of check-in conversations throughout the year.

In our course, CPC: Taking the Coach Approach, you will learn the power of simple questions. These simple questions asked during check-ins throughout the year develop communication, connection, and trust. In our course, you will learn not only the importance of feedback but also learn the crucial importance of feedforward. These check-ins will become a conversation that everyone looks forward to and will give you the comfort of knowing you are doing what it takes to ensure employee success!

We will also spend time during this course understanding what it means to be a coach. By becoming more of a coach (as opposed to a manager), you will find yourself communicating and connecting more clearly with your staff. You will be able to see tough relationships through a new lens. Nobody will be left wondering about the intent for the meeting you just had. Miscommunications will feel easier to sort out. And creating trust will feel more simple.
