Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA)

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (the Act), enacted on March 18, 2020, requires employers to provide certain emergency leave and increases employee access to Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) to cover leave needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The Act is effective April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.

Please Note: FFCRA benefits expired December 31, 2020. Employees are not entitled to receive FFCRA leave past this date. Please work with your supervisor and human resource representative if you have questions about what options may be available to you for COVID related issues after this date.
